About This Game

Remedy's paranormal action-mystery drops Jesse Faden into the Federal Bureau of Control, a secret agency housed in a brutalist skyscraper, the Oldest House, that rearranges itself and quarantines forces from beyond reality. The draw is the place and its lore: environmental storytelling, redacted case files and a building that behaves like a character, wrapped around telekinetic combat that lets Jesse hurl furniture and reshape rooms. The mystery of what happened to the Bureau, and to her brother, drives every corridor. Where it frustrates is navigation and balance, with a map players find awkward and occasional difficulty spikes. Critics ran warmer than some players, who flag the friction around checkpoints. It suits anyone drawn to weird fiction and systems-driven action over conventional horror, and it sits on PS Plus Extra.
