About This Game

A four-player co-op shooter whose signature is the swarm: hundreds of zombies pour over walls and pile into living pyramids in a single seething mass, and the Aftermath edition adds a first-person option, new classes and melee depth to the class-and-perk loop. Episodes span cities worldwide, each built around holding ground against the tide. Opinion divides along the line most horde shooters do: the spectacle of the swarms and the co-op rush land well, while repetitive objectives and uneven companion AI draw the complaints. It is for squads who want a Left 4 Dead-style run built around sheer numbers rather than tension or story. Rated Mature.
