About This Game

Techland's sequel builds a plague-ravaged open city where parkour is the whole grammar of movement: rooftops, ledges and infected streets read as one continuous route, and nightfall flips the map into a lethal hunting ground as the infected pour out of buildings. Combat is brutal and physical, layered over a survival economy of stamina, tools and craftable weapons. Reception splits hard. The traversal and moment-to-moment combat draw wide praise, while the branching story and choice system landed softer than the pre-release promise, alongside launch bugs. It suits players who prize kinetic first-person movement and four-player online co-op over narrative weight, and who treat the city itself as the main character. Rated Mature.
