Titanfall 2 is remembered for the shooter campaign almost nobody expected from a multiplayer studio: a roughly six-hour story about a rifleman and BT, the towering Titan he pilots, built around one time-bending level that designers still cite. On foot the game wall-runs and double-jumps; in a Titan it turns heavy and deliberate, and the campaign keeps swapping between the two. Respawn's movement and gunplay are the reason players speak of it as a beloved classic, and the multiplayer remains some of the most fluid in the genre. The honest caveats are length and population: the campaign ends just as it peaks, and this many years on, filling a match can take patience. For players who prize mechanics and a tight single-player arc it is a standout; those chasing a busy, guaranteed-full lobby should weigh the smaller community.
