An agricultural sim built on a hook its bigger rival still has not copied: global farming. One save spans Montana grain, Japanese rice and wasabi, Colombian coffee and hemp, and Italian olives and grapes, each region with dedicated machinery, and a guided campaign plus scripted challenges made it a friendlier genre entry point than the Farming Simulator of its era.
Critics landed on mixed to fair: generous content for the price and a genuinely fresh angle, but less technical polish and a smaller vehicle roster than the market leader. It was also effectively orphaned, as publisher Techland wound down its third-party label soon after and no sequel ever came. At its routine deep-discount price it is an easy curiosity for genre fans, and the exotic crops still feel novel.
