Disney Speedstorm Tier List (Season 22) - Game Scout

No single tier list for this game is trustworthy on its own: one of the four lists here puts Daisy Duck in its top tier and another puts her in its bottom one. So the method is the point. I took every dated list on the first page of results for the query that could actually be read, scored each placement from 1 (top) to 5 (bottom), and gave every racer the median of its scores. A median of 1.5 or lower is S here, up to 2.5 is A, up to 3.5 is B, up to 4.5 is C, and anything lower is D.

• Pocket Gamer, updated 2 October 2026 for version 1.20.1. Five tiers, S to D, covering about 100 racers. The one editorial list in the top ten.
• Savage Racing, Season 22 Tier List, published 5 October 2026. Four tiers (cracked, good, mid, all bad) with supercharges counted. The creator skips the newest racers, including the Coco and Encanto collections, as too new to judge, which is why those rows show fewer lists.
• TheJet2Holiday, Ranked Solo Tier List for the Coco season, published 27 September 2026. Twelve tiers from S+ down to a bottom bucket, judged for ranked solo play with supercharged variants and level 2 super karts assumed. The list with the widest coverage; it sets out to place all 134 racers.
• Sportskeeda, updated 2 May 2025. Five tiers, S to D. The oldest list in the set, kept because it is the one dated editorial list that ranks the older roster in full, and because the median limits how much a stale placement can move a racer.

Two lists on the same results page could not be read from here on two attempts: the r/DisneySpeedstormGame list credited to the top player Reach, and the tiermaker community average for Season 22. Neither is in the median. SailorMajora's Season 19 list on DeviantArt (28 April 2026) keeps its placements inside an image, but its text names Snow White, Winnie the Pooh, Elsa, Hades and Gaston as the five the author races most, and four of those five land in S or A here.

Read the Lists column before trusting a row. Lightning McQueen, Alice and Genie are S on every list that ranks them. Captain Hook, Scrooge McDuck, Moana, Mirabel and Héctor Rivera are S on the strength of one list each, and Héctor Rivera only joined the game with the Coco season on 24 September 2026.

Best Speedster: Lightning McQueen, with Stitch a close second. McQueen is S on all three lists that rank him; TheJet2Holiday places him ahead of Mickey Mouse and Sam Flynn and credits the buffs that took his top speed above 9,000, and Savage Racing calls him cracked without further argument. Stitch is the only racer in the S band that all four lists place, and three of them put him top tier; both video creators single out a unique skill that hits rivals several times from one use. Alice sits beside them, S on all three of her lists.

Best Trickster: Chip. Tricksters are the thinnest class at the top of this table, and Chip is the only one of the 35 in S on more than one list. Savage Racing rates his passive the best in the game, TheJet2Holiday calls him the most ridiculous racer to face apart from Moana, and the wiki's level 50 table backs the stats half of that: 7,966 acceleration and 7,991 boost, second in the whole roster on both. The Tricksters in A include Aladdin, Zuse, The Evil Queen, Maleficent and Tigger.

Best Brawler: Hector Barbossa, with Hans and Hercules. Barbossa is S on Pocket Gamer and cracked on Savage Racing, and TheJet2Holiday says players quit lobbies when his skill fires more than once. Hans is S on both editorial lists and at the front of A on TheJet2Holiday's, who counts five dashes from one skill. Hercules is the safe pick: all four lists rank him, and he lands at the very end of S+ on the ranked solo list. Steamboat Pete is the stat monster of the class, with 7,496 top speed and the highest combat on the table at 7,794, but his handling of 2,935 is why TheJet2Holiday keeps him in A+.

Best Defender: Genie, S on all three lists that rank him. TheJet2Holiday's reasoning is that Defenders who get the cloak skill often are the strongest archetype in the game, and Genie now has a supercharge on top of a kit that already worked like one. Kristoff and Buzz Lightyear are placed by all four lists and never below A; Frozone and Jumba sit with them in S. Defenders are also the deepest class: ten of the 26 S-tier racers are Defenders, against two Tricksters.

If you want a kart racer that is not free-to-play and not built around unlocking a roster, our best racing games list has the alternatives.

The free route to a racer is the Universal Box. Per the Disney Speedstorm Wiki, it costs 10,000 Season Coins, holds racer and crew shards from every collection except the current season's racers and the mid-season racers, and never gives shards for a racer you have already maxed. Season Coins come from Season Tour and Limited Event race rewards, the shop and Golden Pass tier rewards, and they expire at the end of the season, when they convert to Tokens. Mid-season racers are the ones to budget for: the wiki notes that most ways to unlock them need Tokens, the currency bought with real money.

Cross the box's racer list with the table and these are the free pulls worth chasing, as of October 2026:

• S tier in the Universal Box: Genie, Frozone, Kristoff, Jumba and Buzz Lightyear (all Defenders), Hercules and Hector Barbossa (Brawlers), Jack Skellington and Sam Flynn (Speedsters).
• A tier in the Universal Box: Beast, Will Turner, Aladdin, Anger, Ariel, Celia Mae, Dash, Fix-It Felix, Quorra, Sergeant Calhoun, Zuse, Prince Eric, Baloo, Goofy, Jasmine, Jessie, Mickey Mouse, Randall and Ursula.

Two of the creators flag free picks by name. Savage Racing calls Will Turner one of the best free racers in the game and notes that Dash, the free Incredibles racer, turned out the best of that family. TheJet2Holiday tells new players that Mickey Mouse is worth investing in early because the payoff is large later; Mickey is A here, S+ on that list and C on Sportskeeda's older one. The drop rates in the box shift with how many boxes you have opened, so treat the list as a target, not a schedule.

Every racer has five stats, and the wiki defines them plainly. Top Speed is the racer's maximum speed. Acceleration is how fast it reaches that speed. Handling is how well it turns and drifts. Boost is how long a boost lasts and how fast nitro is consumed. Combat is how long a stun lasts when you hit, or are hit by, a rival. The numbers in the table are the wiki's level 50 figures: five stars, level 50 of upgrades, no crew members fitted, so they are the ceiling a racer reaches before crew bonuses and supercharging.

Each class leans on one or two of the five. Speedsters get the edge in Top Speed, Tricksters in Boost, Brawlers in Handling, and Defenders in Acceleration and Combat. The leaders on the table follow that split loosely: King Triton has the highest Top Speed at 7,562, Captain Gantu is one point behind, Vanellope leads Handling at 8,525, Daisy Duck leads Boost at 9,030, Violet leads Acceleration at 8,120 and Steamboat Pete leads Combat at 7,794.

The stats do not predict the tiers, and that is the most useful thing the table shows. Violet has the best acceleration in the game and sits in B, with TheJet2Holiday calling her the worst racer in ranked solo. Daisy Duck has the highest boost and the four lists split on her from S+ to D. Both video creators judge racers on the unique skill, the supercharge and what the kart can do in first place, and only then on the raw stats. Read the numbers to understand how a racer feels, and the tier to decide whether it wins.
